Understanding Karma and Healing: Insights from Bapuji Dashrathbhai Patel

Karma and Healing

Many people believe that diseases are only physical problems. However, true health is deeply linked to the soul. According to Bapuji Dashrathbhai Patel, the root of our physical suffering lies within our spiritual records.

Human life is extremely valuable. It is the only time a person has the power to change their destiny. You can use this time to transform your “Samskaras” (habits) and your future. If you do not improve while you are alive, your soul may wander in a ghost or spirit form after death. In that state, no improvement is possible. This is why the principle of “Ant mati so gati” is so important. It means your final thoughts determine your next destination. By understanding the connection between the soul and the body, you can begin the process of true healing today.

The Journey of the Soul and the Three Bodies

Bapuji teaches that a human being consists of more than just the visible body. To heal, you must understand the three distinct bodies:

  • The Physical Body (Stul Sharir): This is the outer shell. The soul leaves this body behind at the time of death.
  • The Causal Body (Karan Sharir): This is the “Record Body.” It stores the seeds of all karmic actions and diseases. For example, a condition like paralysis is recorded here first. It is carried inside an envelope of the Space Element (Akash Tattva).
  • The Subtle Body (Sukshma Sharir): After death, the soul uses Air and Fire elements to form a subtle body.

Because the records of diseases and pain are stored in the Causal Body, the soul continues to feel that pain in the Subtle Body. Even after the physical body is gone, the soul carries the memory of the defect within the Space Element.

Why Physical Defects Exist: The Example of Ashtavakra

Bapuji explains the concept of “Soul Power” using the example of the sage Ashtavakra. Ashtavakra had eight bends in his physical body.

If a soul possesses high spiritual power, the physical body will remain healthy and straight. Physical defects or deformities are the direct result of a “deficit” in the soul or past “sinful karma.” Bapuji notes that if a soul were completely liberated and “fully knowledgeable,” they would not be in the Death Lok (the physical world) at all. They would exist in higher dimensions. Even great sages who come to Earth can get caught in the bonds of karma.

The Only Way to Heal the Root Cause

Many people try to use astrology, mantras, or tantra to solve their health problems. However, Bapuji explains that these methods are now “outdated.” They fail because the deities (devi-devtas) no longer possess the power to provide a permanent cure.

To remove a disease from the Causal Body, you must use “Param Light” (Supreme Light). This is the spiritual healing process:

  • Step 1: Self-Realization: Understand and experience yourself as a soul, not just a physical body.
  • Step 2: Connection: Link your mind to the “Allmighty Authority” in the Supreme Abode (Paramdham).
  • Step 3: Receiving Param Light (Shaktipat): Through this connection, the Supreme Light descends into the soul. This is a powerful spiritual transmission.
  • Step 4: The Charging Process: This light creates a domino effect. It charges and cleanses the Causal Body first. Then, the power flows into the Subtle Body. Finally, the Physical Body heals automatically.

Transforming Your Fate Through Supreme Knowledge

True healing requires looking beyond physical medicine. Diseases are essentially “karmic stains” on the soul. Because these stains are spiritual, they cannot be fixed by doctors or magicians.

The permanent solution is found through “Behad ka Gyan” (Infinite Knowledge) and the practice of connecting with the Supreme Power. By clearing the records in your Causal Body while you are still alive, you can change your fate and find “Param Shanti” (Supreme Peace).

“Think Param Shanti, Speak Param Shanti, and you will receive Param Shanti.”
