How the Universe Ends: Cosmic Secrets by Bapuji Dashrathbhai Patel

How the Universe Ends

The Grand Cycle of Creation and Dissolution

Param Shanti. The process of Visarjan, or the dissolution of the universe, is a profound journey that explains how our world eventually returns to its divine source. According to the spiritual insights provided by Bapuji Dashrathbhai Patel, our universe is just one of millions. He refers to this infinite expanse as “Anant Koti Brahmand.”

Every universe in this vast multiverse follows a specific lifecycle governed by divine power. Just as a soul takes birth and eventually seeks liberation (Moksha), a universe also undergoes a cycle of creation, existence, and ultimate dissolution when its energy is spent.

The Pre-Written Script of Our Universe

The history and future of our universe are not random occurrences. Bapuji explains that before a universe is even created, a complete “Script” is written. This script acts as a detailed plan for a cosmic drama, ensuring everything happens in a precise order.

Based on this script:

  • The Lifespan of Brahma: The universe exists for a pre-determined period, specifically the 100-year lifespan of Brahma.
  • The Three Major Roles: The script defines the duties of the three primary powers: Brahma handles Creation, Vishnu manages Maintenance, and Shankar oversees Destruction.
  • Pre-determined Events: The appearance of gods, humans, and demons, as well as the timing of when different levels of existence (Lokas) are formed, is all written before the play begins.

Everything we witness in history and nature is a unfolding of this pre-planned cosmic drama.

The Four Yugas and the Loss of Divine Power

The timeline of our universe moves through four distinct ages, known as Yugas. The cycle of Satuyug, Treta, Dwapar, and Kalyug takes exactly 43,20,000 years to complete.

As the universe moves through these stages, different levels of dissolution occur, known as Ardha PralayaPralayaKalpa Pralaya, and finally, Mahapralaya. During this progression, the internal “power” or Shakti of the universe begins to decrease. This loss of divine energy leads to several consequences:

  • Loss of Balance: The equilibrium of the entire universe is disrupted.
  • Chaos on Earth: Crimes, sins, and negativity increase until they are beyond human control.
  • Uncontrolled Lokas: The various levels of existence—including Bhurloka, Bhuvarloka, Swarga Loka, Maharloka, Janloka, Taploka, Brahmapuri, Vishnupuri, and Shivpuri—become unstable.

Bapuji offers a unique insight here: Lord Vishnu attempts to restore order by taking various incarnations (Avatars). However, eventually, even Vishnu gets tired of taking incarnations as the system becomes too uncontrolled. When divine authority can no longer hold the structure together, a complete reset is required.

The Science of Mahakal: Black Holes and Universal Dissolution

Bapuji Dashrathbhai Patel bridges the gap between metaphysical concepts and physical science by explaining the role of Shiva in the dissolution process. Divine power manifests in three distinct forms and locations:

  1. Nirakari (Formless): Resides in Paramdham.
  2. Akari (Semi-form): Resides in Shivpuri.
  3. Sakari (Physical form): The deity known as Shankar.

Dissolution begins when the power within the Nirakari Shiva fades. This triggers a physical process within the Sun:

  • Shiva creates intense pressure within the Sun, leading to a state called “Kaal” (the state of Time and Death).
  • This extreme pressure creates what modern science calls a “Black Hole.”
  • Spiritually, this Black Hole is Shiva’s power acting as a massive magnetic force, pulling all matter, energy, and uncontrolled souls back into himself.

This “winding up” process happens at both a micro and macro level. While our own Sun has its own age and size, there are millions of such suns across the galaxies. Eventually, not just our universe, but the entire Multiverse is folded back into the center of the Great Universe (Mahabrahmand).

The Final Peace: Returning to the Source

Dissolution is not an event to be feared, but a natural and necessary conclusion to the cosmic cycle. When the “drama” reaches its final act and the divine power is exhausted, the universe must be gathered back into its source to maintain ultimate balance. It is a transition from the chaos of an uncontrolled system back into a state of supreme rest.

We thank Bapuji Dashrathbhai Patel for sharing this deep knowledge of the cosmic lifecycle and the path to reaching Param Shanti (Supreme Peace).
